Imagine Having Your Drive Thru Order Taken and Sung by Jennifer Hudson!

Ordering food at the drive thru window is usually pretty uneventful.  Typically, it goes something like this: you pull up to the speaker, order your food (of course, you’ll have to repeat your order at least three times, because they never hear you on the first try), pull up to the window, grab your food, and drive off.  Sure, you’ll get a little excitement when you reach into the bag and realize that they’ve completely screwed your order up, but nobody enjoys that kind of fun. Recently; however, Academy Award winner, Jennifer Hudson, and her fellow famous pal, James Corden, changed the drive thru game forever.  After pulling up to the speaker at an Astro Burger, and beginning his order, Corden is interrupted by Hudson.  After silently agreeing that ordering a cheeseburger and a diet coke sounds a lot less gluttonous when it’s belted out in Hudson’s amazing voice, she proceeds to give his order.  Seriously, cheeseburger has never sounded so good.

Although she quickly steals the spotlight, Corden doesn’t seem to mind. After all, it’s not every day famous musicians spend their time taking fast food orders.  While the experience was probably pretty cool for Corden, could you imagine being on the other end of the speaker when Hudson begins to sing? It really doesn’t get much better than that, and the girl working at the window looks completely stunned. Unfortunately, Hudson probably doesn’t have plans to take her drive thru show on the road, but it would be pretty awesome if she made a habit out of showing up and showing out at drive thru windows all across the country. However, the fun for Corden and Hudson didn’t stop there, and the two proceeded to sing to each other for the rest of the car ride.  Who says you need a stage to put on a good show?
