How Did Gerard Butler Workout for that Amazing 300 Body?
We can probably all agree that Gerard Butler looks good all the time. His body is in excellent condition and he’s just one of those men that looks amazing no matter what; and that means that he’s clearly someone who values a good workout and makes his health a priority. But he’s also someone who likes to have a good time and enjoy life. Gerard Butler has a hardcore workout regimen for most of his movie roles, a less hardcore workout routine for his day-to-day life and he still manages to consume a healthy diet while also having fun and enjoying a good drink and some good food at times. So how does he manage to do it all? The truth is that for movie roles such as the one he had in 300, he trains hardcore for months. The rest of the time he’s working out like a normal person, but we don’t see him often without his clothes on in real life; just in those roles in which he trains heavily.
For example, for the role he played in 300, Butler worked out harder than a professional athlete for four solid months. His workout routine consisted of working out hours a day and spending the last five weeks before filming began working out in additional sessions. It all paid off considering how good he looks in the role, but it’s a price that he has to pay.
Most days, however, he credits his active lifestyle and his love of working out on his great shape. He does not train harder than a pro athlete on a regular basis, but he does do this when he’s in the middle of a great role training for something he must put on his resume. So if you want to look like Gerard Butler, chances are good that you should get a trainer and make it a daily habit to workout.
