Kimora Lee Simmons Expecting Fourth Baby
It’s time for a fourth baby for Kimora Lee Simmons, ex-wife of hip hop mogul Russell Simmons. The former model and designer, now 39, is reportedly pregnant with her fourth child. This will be her fourth baby, but it’s her first with her new husband, Tim Leissner. The couple wed in February. The designer is allegedly about four months into her fourth pregnancy and feeling well, doing well and not at all unhappy about the news.
Simmons was a model when she met and married Russell Simmons. It was during their marriage that she gave birth to her first two children, both girls. Ming and Aoki are now 14 and 12 respectively, and Simmons shares custody of the girls with her ex, with whom she also remains good friends and chooses to co-parent. It’s not uncommon to see them out on family outings together with their children, even though both moved on from their marriage long ago.
Simmons also has a 5-year-old son, Kenzo, with her ex, actor Djimon Hounsou. There is no report yet if she knows whether or not the baby she’s expecting is a boy or a girl, though if she’s only four months along it could be just a bit too soon to tell. The news first broke on Page Six of The New York Post, and a friend of the mother-to-be has confirmed that the former model is, indeed, expecting a baby.
“It’s true. Pregnant, happy – so far, so good,” says the friend of the expectant mother. The source also told Page Six that the couple is excited to welcome their first child together, and that her older daughters are thrilled at the idea of having a new baby in the house, “The girls are ecstatic.” As far as her young son, we image he’s at that age he doesn’t care at all.
