Mad Men’s Bryan Batt Weds Parnter of 25 Years
Mad Men’s Bryan Batt exchanged vows with his longtime partner last month! The actor and his longtime love, Tom Cianfichi exchanged their vows on September 28 in a southern style wedding in New Orleans. The couple has been together for 25 years. “After 25 years together we tied the knot. First legally in New York City, and then in a ceremony and reception under the canopy of oaks in a beautiful Garden District courtyard in New Orleans,” said Batt in a statement to the press. The wedding was a very family-filled affair that included lanterns hanging from the trees to illuminate guests as they watched their loved ones exchange their vows after more than two decades together.
Their wedding day was one that they both described as one of the best of their lives, but they did almost get rained out (it happens) thanks to some inclement weather than thankfully cleared up in time for the two to walk down the aisle. The way that the couple dealt with the weather hold up is enough to bring a tear to any eye. The story is so sweet and makes their wedding day that much more special to each of them, and even to their families.
“I’ve had some good ones, but this was the best night of my life! It was raining all day, and although there was a tent, it could have been messy. At 4 pm, Weather.com reported 100% chance of rain between 6 and 10, so we looked to the heavens and asked our late moms to do whatever they could and at 5:30 pm I checked the report again and there was zero percent change of rain – it was beautiful!” said Batt. Guests such as Christina Hendricks and her husband, Harriet Harris and Geoffrey Arend were in attendance to watch their friends marry.
