NeNe Leakes Makes Andy Cohen Uncomfortable on Television
No one ever knows what’s going to happen at the Clubhouse, and that’s the beauty of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live. We do know that there will be cocktails, judgment passed and always a little bit of “on the spot” discomfort for some of the celebrity guests, but it’s always more fun to see Andy Cohen put on the spot and made uncomfortable. And no one makes him feel that way more than Real Housewife of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes – who could make anyone squirm with her directness and her open line of questioning.
After the season premiere of the Atlanta franchise, Leakes stopped by the Clubhouse to play some games and speak with Cohen, and she opened up about her apparent friendship with Jersey housewife Teresa Giudice before putting Cohen on the spot regarding how he would feel about visiting Giudice when she’s in jail next year.
“I’ve done everything I can do for her and I hope she comes to see my Broadway show with her girls and have a drink with her before she goes. I would even visit her. I really would,” said the Atlanta star before turning the conversation in a completely different direction and asking Cohen the same question, which appeared to make him a little uncomfortable.
“Umm, yah. Sure I would. Yes, she’s going to be in Connecticut. Sure I would if she wanted to see me,” said Cohen, growing more confident as he spoke. The star is going to be in the prison that inspired the hit Netflix series “Orange is the New Black,” so Cohen might find it even more interesting to visit the star there while she serves her 15-month term. He made it clear during tapings of the Jersey reunion show that he finds it very emotional that the star has to leave behind her family, but he hasn’t spoken about whether or not he feels her sentence is justified.
