Why Nina Parker Should Have Her own Talk Show

Nina Parker

Nina Parker is not yet widely known, but that is currently in the process of changing.  Recently, Parker, who has worked for both TMZ and Insider, was asked to host both reunion episodes for this season of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York.  With one episode down, Nina Parker is proving that she has what it takes to establish herself in an industry that often chews people up and spits them out.  With her love for pop culture and celebrity gossip, there’s a good chance that Parker may eventually transition a career as a talk show host.  So far, she seems like she would certainly be qualified for the job.  Here are five reasons why Nina Parker should have her own talk show.

1. She’s witty.

After her trial run hosting the reunion episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York, Nina Parker has proven that she can keep up with the best of them.

2. She’s good at getting to the bottom of things.

Talk show hosts often have to do a little investigating to get the most out of a story. As a self-proclaimed “Gossip Girl,” Nina Parker is good at getting to the bottom of things and finding the most entertaining part of a situation.

3. She can handle drama.

Let’s be real, hosting the reunion episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York can be even more difficult than hosting a talk show.  Dealing with all of the cast’s different personalities, along with the personal vendettas, can be really hard work.  But somehow, Nina Parker managed to hold her own.

4. She’s a hard worker.

In her late 20s, Nina decided to leave the security of a 9 to 5 job to pursue a career in TV.  She got her start working for TMZ, and said that her time there was extremely rewarding because of all her hard work.  According to Nina: “Before I got there [TMZ], I had never worked that hard in my life.”  While hosting a talk show may seem like an easy job, that is certainly not the case.  Hard work is a must in order to achieve success.

5. She’s comfortable in front of the camera.

If a person is going to hose their own talk show, it is important that they be extremely comfortable in front of the camera.  A nervous talk show host could make for an extremely awkward show.
