The Most Powerful Celebrities Aged 25 and Under

In many cases, it can take years for a celebrity to reach the height of his/her desired level of fame.  However, for others, fame comes much sooner.  Although it can be difficult to maintain a career over several decades, many of the entertainment world’s best and brightest stars have managed to take over the industry while still in their teens and 20s. Throughout the years, some of the most memorable young stars have gone on to have long-lasting careers that will be remembered for years to come.  Although experience is always valued, Hollywood, like most industries, seems to also value youth and energy.  Here are ten of the most powerful celebrities aged 25 and under.

10. Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts comes from a long line of successful Hollywood stars.  Her father, Eric Roberts, has appeared in several film and television productions, and her aunt, Julia Roberts, is one of the most well-known actresses in the industry. However, despite her famous family, Roberts has used her undeniable talent to build her own career.  At just 24 years old, she has already landed several starring film and television roles including a main role in two seasons of FX’s American Horror Story.

9. Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart, best-known for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight film series.  However, even before earning a role in Twilight, Stewart had already built a pretty impressive resume that included award-winning films such as Panic Room in which she starred alongside Jodie Foster.  Now just 24 years-old, Stewart has already accomplished more than some stars will in an entire lifetime.

8. Ariana Grande

Pop-star Ariana Grande, who just turned 21 in June, has been entertaining audiences since she was just 14 years-old.  After starring in two successful Nickelodeon sitcoms, Grande has been able to successfully transition into a music career that has produced hits such as “The Way” and “Best Mistake.” Although she went home empty-handed, Grande’s work earned her two nominations at the 2015 Grammy Awards.

7. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has certainly ruffled a lot of feathers over the last several years.  However, there’s no denying that the 22 year-old Disney star turned twerker is one of the entertainment industry’s most famous young stars. Since embarking on her post Hannah Montana music career, Cyrus has released several popular singles and earned several awards and nominations.

6. Justin Bieber

Although pop-star Justin Bieber, has quickly gone from a good guy to a bad boy, he has still managed to maintain his star power.  Over the last seven years, the 20-year-old Ontario native has become one of the most popular musicians in the world.  With just three albums to his name, Bieber has already earned two Grammy nominations and currently holds several Guinness World Record including “Youngest Solo Artist to Have Five U.S. No. 1 Albums.”

5. Abigail Breslin

18 year-old Abigail Breslin has been acting for nearly a decade. Over the course of her career, Breslin has appeared in several successful films and her performances have been hailed by fans and critics alike.  In 2007, Breslin was received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. With her impressive resume and an extremely captivating on-screen presence, Breslin could potentially go down in history as one of the most successful actresses of her generation.

4. Kendall and Kylie Jenner

Successful sister duo Kendall (19) and Kylie (17) Jenner have capitalized on their reality TV fame. In 2013, the Jenner sisters launched their own clothing line, Kendall and Kylie, which is being sold exclusively in PacSun stores. Aside from their clothing line, both Kendall and Kylie have embarked on other ventures including modeling,  writing, and acting.

3. Dakota Fanning

20 year-old Dakota Fanning has been a fan favorite since her first on-screen appearance in 2000 during an episode of the popular medical drama, ER. Over the course of her 15 year career, Fanning has won nearly two dozen awards, and earned approximately 50 acting credits.  Her captivating performances have caused many people to regard her as one of the most talented young stars in Hollywood, and her versatile skill set has allowed her to be offered countless opportunities.

2. Jennifer Lawrence

24 year-old Jennifer Lawrence, best-known for her role as The Hunger Games‘ fearless Katniss Everdeen, has become one of the most popular and well liked stars in Hollywood.  Although Lawrence has been acting for nearly a decade, she did not gain mainstream fame until she earned a starring role in the 2011 film, X-Men: First Class. Since then, Lawrence’s performances have been critically acclaimed and earned her a host of awards.  In 2013, Lawrence’s performance in the film Silver Linings Play Book, earned her an Academy Award, making her the second youngest actress to win the award for Best Supporting Actress.

Country musician turned pop idol, Taylor Swift, has gone from a teen sensation to one of the most successful acts in the business.  The 25 year-old Pennsylvania native has released five successful albums, and shows no signs of missing any time soon.  Swift, who is a seven time Grammy Award winner, has also used her fame as a platform to give back to those in need.  Aside from her successful music career, Swift is also a well-known philanthropist who has donated millions of dollars to various charitable organizations.
