Rhyon Nicole Brown is an actress, a singer, and a dancer. This very talented young lady has created a name for herself in the entertainment world. Since 1999, she has been living out her dreams. 1. Rhyon’s Early Life

Rhyon Nicole Brown was born on October 6, 1992, in Los Angeles, California. She is the second of three children, however, she says that she never suffered from middle child syndrome. She says that she grew up with kids who were middle children, and they were jealous of their older sibling because they got to do everything first. They were jealous of their younger sibling because they were considered the baby. According to Rhyon, she felt like an equal throughout her entire life.

2. Being Bitten by the Acting Bug

The first time Rhyon realized that she wanted to be an actress was when she was just 5 years old. Her sister was performing in the musical “The Wiz”, at the Los Angeles Theater Center. She wanted to be a munchkin in the production, that she refused to take her seat and insisted sitting backstage mouthing the line and singing the songs under her breath. She was hoping that the director would see her and cast her. Unfortunately, she was too young to be in production, however, when the owners of the conservatory saw her talent and dedication, they decided to lower the age requirements. The next year, she made her debut in “It’s a Wonderful Life, Ain’t It”.

3. Rhyon’s Education

Rhyon did not let her acting career interfere with her education. She graduated from Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California. Soon after, she enrolled in the University of Southern California. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2015. She studied producing, directing, and writing. She has a dream to one day be on the other side of the camera. She also feels that because she has learned to dissect an actor’s work in school, it has made her a better actress. During an interview, she stated that her education is just as important as her career so she took her studies seriously.

4. Breaking Into Advertising

Like many actors and actresses, Rhyon got her first big break in advertising. She began appearing in commercials, and she became the face for Disney and The Gap. Not only did she star in commercials for these companies, she also appeared in several print ads for them both.

5. Getting Her Break in Acting

After she was seen in the television and print ads, she started getting offers for recurring roles in a variety of television shows. Some of her most popular shows include Judging Amy, Boston Public, That’s So Raven, The Bernie Mac Show, and Hidden Hills. She also got a few guest starring roles on shows like ER, 7th Heaven, Two and a Half Men, Girlfriends, Everybody Loves Raymond, and My Wife and Kids.

6. Her Break in Film

Rhyon made her film debut in the film Santa & Pete in 1999. Shortly after, in 2005, she starred in 50 Cent’s biopic, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Most recently, she starred in Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, and Michel’le. It was a made for television movie, that told the story of the film, Straight Outta Compton, but from Michel’le’s point of view. Rhyon played Michel’le.

7. Lincoln Heights

Rhyon landed her first main character role on the ABC Family series, Lincoln Heights. It was a show about a family that moves to a crime filled area and they try to help the community as well as the convicts that lived there. She played She played the character Lizzie, who was the youngest child in the family, who was once a tomboy. She starred in the show for its entire run, which was from 2007 until 2009. She appeared in all 42 episodes.

8. Hobbies

Rhyon is just like the average 20 something-year-old and she has hobbies and things that she enjoys. In high school, she was a cheerleader. It has become one of her hobbies even after graduating. She also enjoys singing and dancing. She also loves to travel , read, and play sports. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Off-screen, she is just like every other girl her age.

9. Her Role as Michel’le Was Tough

While playing the role of Michel’le in Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, and Michel’le, she played Michel’le, who was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, according to the real life Michel’le. While playing the part, she had to simulate domestic violence. She stated that it was so serious and so intense, that she found herself crying long after the take was over. She stated that being able to get so deep into the part, she was able to get in insider’s view of domestic violence. For her, it was an incredibly emotional experience. She stated that she wasn’t too concerned about Dr. Dre’s opinion on the film because he was able to tell his story in Straight Outta Compton, and Michel’le had the right to tell her version of the story.

10. Her Very First Nude Scene

Not only was Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, and Michel’le a difficult part for Rhyon to play due to the domestic violence factor, it was also the first time that she had to film a nude scene. She said that in the scenes where she completely naked, she felt very awkward and uncomfortable.

Rhyon Nicole Brown has had a love for acting since she was in preschool Since then, she has made quite the name for herself, not only through her acting but through her singing. She is recording an album, taking on new roles, and she is also working on getting behind the camera rather than in front of it. Rhyon has serious plans regarding her future, and she has no problem working hard to get what she wants.
