Rick Ross Offers Weight Loss Advice to his Fans
It wasn’t that long ago that Rick Ross was overweight. In fact, he was approximately 300 pounds. The rapper didn’t care about his weight. He worked it to his advantage and kept on living his life the way he wanted to live it. However, that meant some pretty unfortunate things for the rapper when it came to his health. Most notably, Ross suffered to seizures in one day about three years ago. Those seizures weren’t something he welcomed, but they also didn’t change his life.
It wasn’t until earlier this year that the rapper finally got serious about his weight and decided to do something about it. Since making that decision, he’s lost approximately 100 pounds and he’s done it the good old-fashioned way; by making lifestyle changes. Instead of hitting up the newest fad diets or having surgery, Ross has decided he’s just going to eat healthier and have a constant workout routine, and it’s working for him.
“I used to eat big meals at 2 a.m. and base it on my schedule. But I don’t do that no more,” he says. He also goes onto say that he’s made some very significant changes to his eating and drinking habits. He no longer consumes soda. He also eats earlier in the day and doesn’t eat in the middle of the night anymore. He advises people who want to lose weight to drink water and to treat themselves when they feel the need, but to get back up the next day and keep on working on that diet and making those life changes.
“I just went to Prime 112 (in Miami) the other night, and I have some fried Oreos and fried velvet cake. I treated myself. You wake up in the morning, you might regret it. But you got to get back to work,” he advises fans who are looking to make the same lifestyle changes.
