Taylor Swift Gets Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker
Taylor Swift is one of the most popular music artists in the world. She’s broken dozens of album sales records, she’s made hundreds of millions of dollars, and she’s dated half of Hollywood. With her dramatic success, Swift was bound to attract a crazy here or there.
According to GossipCop, Swift finally competed a restraining order on a man who has been allegedly stalking her since 2011. In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Swift claims that Timothy Sweet has been sending her scary e-mails, letters and social media posts. Sweet allegedly sent threatening e-mails that threatened to kill her family and claimed she was his wife.
Here’s one of his notes:
“Dearest Taylor, I’ll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State.”
The judge who made the ruling ordered Sweet to stay 100 yards away from Swift and her family. A hundred yards? What is that going to do. That sounds like a restraining order from the 1800’s. I hope nothing happens to Taylor!
