Taylor Swift Sings for Young Cancer Patient in Boston Hospital

Taylor Swift might be one of the biggest celebrities in the world, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t know when it’s important to take time out of her busy schedule to do something nice. The country crooner recently took time out of her busy schedule to head to the Boston Children’s Hospital to spend time with a very special little boy.

Jordan Lee Nickerson is a 6-year-old boy who is going through something no children should ever have to endure. The little boy was diagnosed with leukemia only last month, and to top it off, he’s already living with a health condition. Nickerson was diagnosed with a very rare condition caused Williams Syndrome when he was a baby. At the tender age of only 18 months, Nickerson underwent open heart surgery.

Wouldn’t you know it, Nickerson is a huge Taylor Swift fan. So, the country star decided to spend a little time with her bravest fan and she gave him a private concert while she was at the hospital. To cheer him up, she began singing her hit song, “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” after her young fan told her he knew she would sing.

“I know you always sing songs for people,” he said to Swift, who promptly replied that she, “loves singing songs for people,” and that she wants to sing for him, “more than all the other people,”.

Once her private concert ended and their visit commenced, Swift decided it was time to take on her young fan in an intense game of air hockey. We don’t know who walked away the victor of that match, but we have a hunch it was 6-year-old Jordan Lee Nickerson, who – if Swift is as kind as we all believe she is – probably lost by a mile to her new friend.
