Teresa Giudice Blames Lawyers for Her Prison Sentence, Not Husband
Teresa Giudice is mad and upset about her jail sentence, but she’s not mad at herself or her husband; she’s mad at the court and her lawyers. In her opinion, they failed her and that’s why she’s going to jail. Apparently, her sentence has nothing to do with the crimes she committed along with her husband. The real housewife of New Jersey continues to cause jaws to drop all over the country as she speaks, none more so than when she spoke of her husband’s role in her sentencing on the second part of the couple’s exclusive interview with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live.”
When Andy Cohen stated that any other woman might be very angry, resentful and unhappy with her spouse for using her for her credit and putting her into a situation that’s illegal, Teresa did not agree.
“I don’t think he meant to hurt me in any way. I think it’s a learning lesson for both of us, right honey?” she stated before asking her husband to agree with her. “Since the sentencing, he’s been felling bad and keeps coming up to me and hugging me. All I can keep saying to him is…what do I keep saying?” she looked a Joe.
“Take care of my daughters,” said Joe.
It’s at that point that Cohen asked Joe Giudice if he feels guilty for using his wife and putting her into a situation in which she now has to do jail time for more than a year. “I do, but at the same time, what am I going to do? I did everything I could to get her out of it, but it didn’t work,” said Teresa’s husband. He then admits to drinking as many as four bottles of wine a night – with another person, but usually two on his own because it helps him sleep.
