The Top Five Movie Roles of Jordana Brewster

Jordana Brewster

Jordana Brewster is a gorgeous Panamanian, Brazilian-American actress. She was born in Panama, and she’s been in the United States since she was a little girl. Her family has always touted success and pursuing her dreams as the most important role in her life, and she’s done just that. With a supermodel mother, a successful investment banker for a father and a grandfather who was once the president of Yale University, success is not something Jordana Brewster was allowed to ignore. She was going to work hard, seek her passion and make it happen for herself. It’s what the people in her family did and do for a living; and she is not an exception to that role.

She was only 15 when she began her acting career in the soaps. She’d only been in American for five years at that point, having lived in Panama, Brazil, and even London. She starred in two different soaps, one for a short time and one for almost six years. They both did wonders for her career, but it wasn’t until 1998 when she was cast in a very popular movie that people began to recognize her and know her name. It was The Faculty which also starred some other famous faces. She was the mean girl, and she played her part to perfection.

From there, her next big roles were some of the best, and we’re taking a look at those that are just a bit more impressive than others. These are the roles that made Jordana Brewster famous and wildly successful throughout the course of her career.

The Faculty

This horror film has what might be considered an ensemble cast of famous faces. She’s the popular girl with a serious attitude, and she’s great in her role. We loved it, and we know you will, too.

The Fast and the Furious

It was her role as Mia Toretto opposite Paul Walker and Vin Diesel that made people really take note of this actress. She was good in the role and the movie went on to become one of the most popular of all time. She was also in “Fast & Furious,” “Fast Five,” “Fast & Furious 6,” and “Furious 7,” over the next few years.

Nearing Grace

In 2005, she was cast as a very popular girl in high school who is the girl on the mind of the main character, a dark boy with a lot on his plate. She is good in this role, and it’s one she was very well recognized for.

Annapolis

She plays a young woman who they say is a prostitute. She did major things for this movie, which stars some of the most famous faces in the business. She did well, and the movie did well, but it’s her role as a woman who has the attention James Franco’s character.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

It’s not a hugely popular movie, but the role she played did win Jordana Brewster a nomination for a Teen Choice Award for the best scream and the best actress in a horror movie. She didn’t win either, but it doesn’t matter when you’re nominated, right?
