Wait a Second, Jason Biggs Was a Ninja Turtle?
Actor Jason Biggs has been in the entertainment industry for more than 25 years. To many, the 36-year-old New Jersey native is best known for his role as Jim Levenstein in the American Pie film series. Initially, his character, was a teenage boy who was on a mission to lose his virginity before graduating high school, and as the films progressed, Jim became an even more quirky character. Since the release of the first American Pie film in 1999, the series has become a teenage comedy classic that has become a lasting part of pop culture. In recent years; however, Jason Biggs’ career has been revived by his role as Larry Bloom on the Netflix original series, Orange is the New Black. His character in the comedy-drama series, a writer who tries to deal with his fiancé’s sudden incarceration, quickly became a fan favorite and was hailed for his dry humor.
Although Jason Biggs often plays somewhat similar characters throughout his different film and TV appearances, many of his characters are actually less like the real life Jason Biggs than you may think. Here are three things you didn’t know about Jason Biggs.
3. Jason Biggs was the voice of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Leonardo.
From 2012 to 2014 Jason Biggs was a voice actor for the cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where he provided the voice of Leonardo. In June 2014, Biggs was replaced by actor Seth Green.
2. Jason Biggs is Catholic.
Although he is well known for playing Jewish characters, Jason Biggs is actually Roman Catholic. However, Biggs has described himself as “the jewiest looking non Jew,” and in 2008 he married a nice Jewish girl.
1. Jason Biggs is married to actress Jenny Mollen.
In April 2008, Jason Biggs married Jenny Smollen, his co-star from the film My Best Friend’s Girl. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Sid Biggs, in February 2014.
