Age is nothing but a number. It’s something we all tell ourselves as we continue to age every year and that number reaches higher and higher. In Hollywood, however, age really doesn’t seem to matter to some couples. In fact, it’s not uncommon to see a celebrity couple with a few years between them – some more than others. With so much plastic surgery and amazing makeup artists, most celebrities look nothing like their age, which is why so many of them marry people who aren’t even remotely close to their own age. Beyonce and Jay-Z – 12 years

They’ve always been good at keeping a low profile. The celebrity couple has been together more than a decade now, married for several years and they’re parents of a little girl who goes by the name Blue Ivy. They’re rarely in the news for anything other than their celebrity status, and they look to be the kind of couple with longevity. Their age difference might have something to do with it. Despite beginning their relationship when Beyonce was still in her teens, the couple with more than 12 years between them seems to be going strong.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green – 13 years

Megan Fox is one of the most beautiful women on the planet, and Brian Austin Green was a heartthrob in his day – not that he isn’t now. The celebrity couple have been together on and off for several years, finally tying the knot in a private Hawaiian ceremony and welcoming two children in the past few years. The former 90210 star and his Transformers wife have been together a long time, but not quite as long as the difference between their ages. He is 13 years older than his young wife, but it seems to work for them.

Ellen and Portia have been married for years, but they have no kids. They’re not shy about making it known that while they love children, they’re not interested in them. The funny lady and her lovely Aussie are more interested in traveling the world, making people laugh and doing good things for animals in need. They also have a love of buying old homes that need some TLC and rehabbing them, living in them shortly and moving on. The couple that renovates houses together stays together, as long as there is a good age difference between the two.

Warren Beatty and Annette Benning – 21 years

This is a couple that has been together for a long, long time. They’ve got whatever secret it is to longevity down to the wire. With 21 years between them, the Hollywood starlet and her husband have been married since 1992. Despite their massive age difference, the couple still manages to find a common ground. They have four children together, which might be part of the reason the couple has managed to stay together so long. That and they both have their own outside interests so they always have something interesting to talk about.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard – 23 years

Johnny Depp spent years with Vanesa Paradis, but recently the couple called it quits and he’s now engaged to Amber Heard, who is 23 years his junior. Perhaps his previous relationship simply fizzled out after two kids and many years together, or perhaps Depp brings truth to the fact that some men just need the confidence boost that comes with being with a woman so much younger than himself. We might never know the truth, but the couple certainly did become engaged pretty quickly, so the world is on the lookout for wedding bells in the near future.

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart – 23 years

This is one couple that stays very private. Han Solo himself has been with Calista Flockhart for many years, even managing to get married without anyone knowing until after the ceremony. Their 23 year age difference doesn’t seem to matter to them, and the world might actually forget just how many years are between the two. Part of this reason is that Ford, at 71-years-old, is still one of the best-looking men in Hollywood. He doesn’t look even remotely his own age, which is good when you’re talking about being in your late 40s and married to a man in his 70s.

Are they together or are they not? This is a couple with a big road ahead of them, and one behind them. After dealing with her alleged bipolar disorder and his health issues, the couple appeared stronger than ever. The couple broke up briefly before deciding to get married, and now they’re living life as husband and wife, despite the fact that he was 60 years old when she was born.
