10 Reasons Kanye West Isn’t as Bad as you Think He Is

8. Kanye West stands by what he believes in.

Over the course of his career, Kanye West has constantly been in the media for his bold and outrageous statements.  In 2005 at “A Concert for Hurricane Relief” Kanye West shocked the country when he boldly stated that then president George Bush “doesn’t care about black people.” In the years to come, West would make several other controversial statements that would result in damage to his public image.  However, despite the backlash and negative criticism, Kanye West has proven that he is always willing to stand by what he believes in, no matter the consequences.
