Ali Larter is an American actress with an estimated net worth of $8 million. She was born on February 28, 1976 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Her mother, Margaret, is a realtor. Her father, Danforth, is a trucking executive with a nationally known company. She lived there her entire life, though her parents have now relocated to Pennsylvania. As an only child, Ali Larter was a total tomboy. She states that when she turned 13, she suddenly began to develop and part of her development was a sudden growth spurt of more than 6 inches. Suddenly people began to view her differently, and she was a new person in their eyes. She was out one day with her family when a modeling agent spotted her on the street. She was only 13, and they asked her to star in a Phillies commercial. Her parents agreed to it, and her mother went every single place she ever went as a model until she was 18-years-old.
That was just the beginning of Ali Larter’s long and successful career, too. She signed a contract with Ford Models in New York City and she began to have her photos taken for magazine spreads, and she began walking on runways with other supermodels for some of the biggest names in the business. When she was ready to begin her senior year of high school, she decided not to attend school in person. She was in Italy, Japan and she was in Australia working and needed to be away from the classroom. During the time she was in Italy, she became friends with an actress by the name of Amy Smart. When the two found themselves in LA a while later, they decided to take acting classes together. That is when Ali Larter decided that modeling wasn’t going to be the only thing she did with her life.
In the late 1990s, she began acting alongside Brooke Shields in the sitcom Suddenly Susan. Her role was relatively minor, but she was able to land guest roles on some of the most famous television shows around at the time. Her first major role in a movie was the famous movie “Varsity Blues,” where she was the romantic interest of one of the main stars. She also landed roles in movies such as “Final Destination,” and “Legally Blonde,” where she became a household name in a matter of just a few years. However, it was her stint on television opposite some of the most famous actresses around that really did make her famous. She became cast in the hit television series Heroes in 2006 and was instantly recognized wherever she went.
Ali Larter is still a model, though she’s also a lot more these days. She became a wife in 2009 and she became a mother for the first time in 2010 to a little boy. She gave birth to her first little girl in 2015 and she manages to keep her family life as private as possible when she can.
