Big Change for the Final ‘Hobbit’ Movie
If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan than you’re most likely a Hobbit fan. Let’s face it, The Hobbit was never going to live up to LOTR, however when Smaug made his first appearance in The Desolation of Smaug things got real. That was a game changer for the latest installment of the epic series. Speaking of changes, we’ve just been told there’s another to anticipate for the final chapter of The Hobbit.
According to reports, The Hobbit: There and Back Again is no longer coming out on December 17th. Peter Jackson has announced that The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will be coming out instead. Same movie, new title. This was Peter Jackson’s explanation on Facebook:
An interesting change as The Hobbit: There and Back Again was THE beloved title. Either way, the final installment should just get better and better as have the new movies. Thus far, the two Hobbit movies have grossed over $2 billion worldwide. The last installment will come out December 17, 2015. We’re looking forward to it!
