Chris Brown Fanfiction is a Hit on Tumblr
When Chris Brown released his first single, “Run It!”, in 2005, he was just a 16 year old boy from Tappahannock, Virginia with dreams of becoming a star. However, the single instantly became a hit and Brown was dubbed as a teenage heartthrob by young girls everywhere. Throughout his career, Chris Brown, has released several successful projects and has won a slew of awards, including one Grammy Award and three American Music Awards. In 2006 he made his television acting debut on UPN’s sitcom “One on One.” The following year, Brown made his film debut in the popular movie, Stomp the Yard, which left fans heartbroken after his sudden on-screen death. Now a seasoned vet in the entertainment industry, Brown has undergone his share of personal issues which have often jeopardized his career. However, through it all, Brown has still been able to hang on to a strong fan base that is dedicated to supporting him unconditionally.
Some of his most supportive (and imaginative) fans have gone to Tumblr to express their love for Brown in the form of fanfiction stories. These fictional stories, which usually depict Brown as being a part of the authors’ lives, are creative and entertaining. While Chris Brown fanfiction may seem like a joke to some people, those involved take their craft very seriously and have amassed large following.
