Contestants Who Took it too Far on DWTS
Since its debut in 2005, Dancing with the Stars has given dozens of celebrities a chance to start their stuff in front of millions of viewers. The show pairs a celebrity dancer with a professional dancer, and the two perform routines each week until a winner is chosen. As with any show, each season has its ups and downs. Some stars are able to surprise fans with their amazing dance moves, while others’ inability to dance is almost embarrassing. However, regardless of skill level, most of these stars are determined to give it their all, and in the process some tend to get a little overboard. Here are five contestants who took it too far on DWTS.
1. Rumer Willis
Twerking may be in, but fans were still shocked when Rumor Willis decided to break out some rather bootylicious moves during one of her DWTS performances. Both viewers and the judges felt that the performance was a bit too risqué; however, Willis was not eliminated from the show that week. Unfortunately, Willis’ DWTS run has recently come to an end, and she was so distraught that she did not want to speak to anyone immediately following the news.

2. Bristol Palin
Bristol Palin and her bad attitude gained quit the reputation during her time on DWTS. Many fans felt Palin was a little over the top when she took out her anger and frustration on partner, Mark Balla, after accusing him of not doing his best.

3. Kate Gosselin
Seriously, when is Kate Gosselin not taking things too far? Time Magazine voted Gosselin one of the top 10 terrible contestants on DWTS, and with good reason. While on the show, Gosselin was dramatic and an obnoxious towards other contestants, including her partner.

4. Michael Bolton
Michael Bolton may have golden pipes, but his dance moves are definitely lacking. His attempt at dancing was so bad that the judges labeled his routine the worst they’d ever seen.

5. Maksim Chmerkovskiy
In 2011, many people felt that Maksim Chmerkovskiy took things too far when he snapped after one of the judges called his routine the worst of the season. Apparently, Chmerokovskiy doesn’t take kindly to criticism.
