The First Lady Makes an Appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

How does Jimmy Fallon do it? From Eddie Vedder to the first lady, the dude can get anyone in the world to be on his show. Even stars who are normally very quiet and reserved seem to give him  a chance. Maybe it is his “every man” appeal. Maybe it is how approachable and genuine he comes across as. Either way, only a fool would find it unimpressive. Reality is, his reach with celebrity had a bit to do with why they picked him for The Tonight Show, I’m sure. Well, remember how the First Lady was on his other talk show? Guess what? The First Lady Makes an Appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He has had the show for under a month and it already showing everyone he may be the best host yet.

It was not just the First Lady, either. It was also a glorious Will Ferrell. Michelle Obama, Jimmy Fallon, and Will Ferrell were doing a sketch about one of Michelle’s most beloved causes. Eating healthy and fighting fat. The thing is, when did you think you would ever see THESE three together on stage, doing a skit? I can safely answer for everyone and say never. The odd thing is, it works awesome and is genuine fun.

Come on, people. I think it is safe to say the world is changing, and changing fast. Gone are the days were The First Ladies were delegated to the White House. Gone are the days when they are just the quiet partner behind their husbands. When The First Lady makes an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, you know all the world has changed.

But I say we just roll with it. It is great to see people in great positions of power seeming as humble and approachable as anyone else.  Oh, and who knew she was so funny?
