Five Things You Didn’t Know about Lindsey Vonn

You do know something about Lindsey Vonn, and that’s the fact that she’s a professional skier and she’s really good at her job. She’s also the girlfriend of Tiger Woods, which has actually caused more than a few people to raise their eyebrows in question; after all, Woods’ reputation since his divorce from Elin Nordegren a few years back hasn’t exactly bounced back. But you know, people change; they improve, they move on and they become better people. We don’t know either Vonn or Woods personally, but if they’re happy in their relationship and it works for them, then more power to them. The exceptionally talented athlete has a lot going for her, aside from the fact that she’s crazy talented and easy on the eyes. She’s won more championships that most people realize, and she also comes across in her interviews and commentaries as a nice, down-to-earth girl. So we thought we’d bring you five things about the superstar athlete you just did not know.

She’s a Huge Tennis Fan

She’s such a tennis fan, in fact, that she once challenged world champion Roger Federer to a mountaintop match, and she enjoyed every second of it. She’s a little bit obsessed with the tennis star.

Multiple Multiples

Vonn has four siblings. Her two brothers and one of her sisters are actually triplets, but it’s Vonn and her sister Karin (not one of the triplets) that could actually be twins. It’s pretty cool, and as the mother of twins I feel this is even cooler.

She Owns Cows

There was a time back in 2005 that the skier decided to take a cow instead of a check for one of her competition wins, and that cow had a few babies. Since then, she’s had a few more babies and she’s taken a few more prized cows as payment. She loves the animals.

She Once Allegedly Dated Tim Tebow

If ever there was a question as to the kind of character and person that Vonn really is, it was answered by the fact that she was once linked very briefly to Tim Tebow. Since the former Florida Gator is known for his very Godly ways and his very high standards, we feel that she must be a pretty awesome person to have been noticed by him.

She’s Got a Dog

Her dog’s name is Leo and he was hit by a car. The two went through knee operations together and then through rehab together and really did a number on one another. They made it through together and that’s what matters most.
