Former Bachelor Juan Pablo Used Nikki Ferrell for Media Attention

Let’s see a show of hands from those who thought former Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis and his ladylove (like?) Nikki Ferrell would last forever and ever and live happily ever after. We didn’t think so. That said, it’s no big shock that the couple decided to call it quits, but it is a shock that the breakup was initiated by the pediatric nurse, who was far more invested in the relationship than the former soccer pro. And now that news is out that the couple has split, a close friend of Galavis’ has come forward to say that the soccer star did, indeed, use Ferrell so that he could stay famous a bit longer.

“The main reason Juan stayed with Nikki was to spite all the haters who thought they would break up, and to stay relevant so he could promote himself. Juan wants to be a soccer or baseball commentator and also a manager for high-profile Latin athletes,” said a source close to the former soccer player and once again bachelor. “Juan did say ‘I love you,’ to Nikki, but only a couple of times. She wanted him to say it every time they spoke and he couldn’t do that,” the source continues.

When it seemed that she would get no further with the soccer star, she decided to call it quits on their relationship. Additionally, the source goes on to tell reporters that Nikki was not interested in leaving her family in Kansas and Juan Pablo didn’t want to leave Miami. Without any compromise, it isn’t a big shock that this is a couple that just could not make their relationship work. They were not engaged, as the soccer star didn’t think he could propose since he did not fall in love during his reign as the Bachelor, and it seems that this is a breakup that will last for good.
