Have High Heels Really Ruined Victoria Beckham’s Feet?

Burberry Front Row: Spring/Summer 2010 - London Fashion Week

Continually wearing high-heels shoes has often been associated with chronic foot pain and permanent damage.  However, these shoes continue to be the first choice for many of the world’s most famous women. In 2009, stories broke that former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, had to schedule urgent surgery to remove the bunions that had formed on her feet after years of wearing high-heeled shoes on a daily basis.  As a result, Beckham’s once pretty feet were left disfigured.  Many fans, who once admired her ability to walk in heels, were suddenly in awe of the damage that had been done to her feet.  In the years since the news was revealed several of Beckham’s fans have discussed whether or not wearing heels has ruined her feet for good.  Although, many believe that high heels cannot be held responsible for the state of her feet; here are three tweets from people who believe that high heels have permanently ruined Victoria Beckham’s feet.

Images of Victoria Beckham’s feet have been widely circulated around the internet; however, some people still don’t seem to be convinced that wearing heels can often be more trouble than it’s worth.  Unfortunately, despite Beckham’s example, many will have to learn the hard way – including Victoria Beckham herself.

This photo serves as a fair warning for anyone who has ever been jealous of Victoria Beckham’s ability to wear heels on a regular basis.  Although she has often looked very stylish, she has certainly paid the price for her trendy appearance. However, even with all the damage they have caused, Victoria Beckham continues to wear high heels.
