Hillary Clinton Due to be a Grandmother Any Day Now

There’s going to be a new set of grandparents in town any day now. Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton are on grandchild watch as their only child, Chelsea Clinton, is set to give birth at any moment in time. Though she has not announced a due date, her parents have said that she’s getting ready to welcome her first child any day now, and they want to be prepared for the big moment.

“Bill and I are on constant grandchild watch. So don’t be surprised if we suddenly go sprinting off the stage,” she said on Sunday when she was speaking to a crowd at a political event in Iowa. When she receives the call that her daughter is in labor, she and her husband plan on being there as quickly as possible so that they don’t miss the birth of their first grandchild.

She also went on to talk about that other thing in her life at the moment, the rumors that she’s planning on running for president yet again in the 2016 election. She touched on this moment only briefly – obviously more excited to talk about the hopes that it would be the day she became a grandmother – saying that she’s thinking about it. It’s the same answer she’s been giving since rumors of her run began earlier this summer.

What she really wanted to talk about, however, was red meat. The event was a steak fry to raise money for some political campaigns, and she was happy to find herself behind the grill flipping steaks with Bill Clinton.

“I’m here for the steak! For years, I was more likely to be eating yak meat in Mongolia and enjoying it, but thinking a lot of being back home,” she said with a smile as she talked to her fans and supporters. Needless to say, she was there for the entire event so there’s been no grandchild as of yet.
