Jessica Chastain Will Be Playing Marylin Monroe in New Film

So the word on the street today is that Jessica Chastain will be playing Marilyn Monroe in a new film. While you may look at the actress and think you cannot see it, the woman is an absolute chameleon when it comes to the roles she chooses. In one role, she may look like a mom. In her next role, she can look a goth rock star. It is just a gift she has that goes along with her gift of acting. So I, for one, can completely see her pulling this off. Plus, let us not forget, Monroe was a genuine red head.

Though it has not been finalized yet, it is said that Jessica Chastain will be playing Marilyn Monroe in a film adaptation of the “imagined memoir” of the star, called Blonde. The book takes some liberties, but imagines what was going on in Marilyn’s head, behind-the-scenes. There have been so many amazing on screen interpretations of the starlet, we are genuinely curious to see what Jessica Chastain can bring to the role. Marylin Monroe has left us all intrigued, for years on end now, and this proves our fascination with the star is not set to go away, anytime soon.

Though details are still slim, we will tell you more about Blonde once more news about the film leaks. For now, we just need to play the waiting game. Of course, if you want to see how it turns out, you can always read the book.
