Justin Bieber’s Deportation Petition Fails

2014 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival - Day 3

Most people don’t take Justin Bieber seriously these days and it’s quite hard to.  Unfortunately, there are some people that do take the singer seriously and we’re not talking about the Beliebers. We’re talking about those people in the United States that dislike Bieber to a serious level an actually want him out of the United States.

After seven days of being circulated around the internet, a Justin Bieber Deportation Petition – which needs 100,000 signatures to get an official response from the United States government – had over 270,000 signatures. The next step? The ball was in the US government’s court. And they’ve responded…

The White House finally released a statement, “Sorry to disappoint, but we won’t be commenting on this one.” You have to find this one kind of humorous. Clearly, the government doesn’t take Bieber seriously. That, or they believe he’s good for the economy. The problem is the government doesn’t have to comment on this situation nor will they. Hate Bieber or love him, looks like he’s staying in the United States for a while.

The United States used this petition to actually start spreading awareness on Immigration Reform. Back to the Biebs – we’re going to have to deal with him for quite some time so just sit back and try not to worry about it.
