Katherine Webb and A.J. McCarron Are Engaged
When you’re the quarterback on one of the best college football teams in the country you enjoy some perks. One of those just happens to be the opportunity to date a wider spectrum of ladies. Say what you’d like, but the quarterback always gets the girls. What happens when you’re not the big-time quarterback anymore? Just ask former Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron. McCarron has locked up on-and-off again girlfriend Katherine Webb. The announcement was made on Webb’s Twitter page with a picture of the huge diamond ring and the announcement “We’re Engaged!!”. Congratulations to the couple!
For those of you who don’t remember, Webb rose to fame during a live broadcast of an Alabama game in which announcer Brent Musberger became fixated on her beauty. That minute of fame on TV was enough to launch her name and land her a failing spot on the television show Splash. McCarron, on the other hand, had a wonderful college football career and will now wait to see which NFL team drafts him in this year’s upcoming NFL draft.
In our opinion, Webb should have held out a bit just to see where McCarron was drafted. We’re sure she loves the attention of dating the big-time college quarterback. We’ll have to see how she does dating the backup QB now.
