Kris Jenner Officially Files for Divorce

Anyone hoping for a reunion in the Kardashian/Jenner marriage is no longer doing so. The mom of the famous Kardashian sisters, Kris Jenner, has filed for divorce from her estranged husband Bruce Jenner. The 58-year-old mother of 6 filed for divorce on Monday, which is a month shy of a full year since the reality television couple announced their separation. It was looking like the couple could withstand their issues, but it appears they will not end up back together.

Jenner and her 64-year-old soon-to-be ex-husband married in 1991. Together they have two children, though they each have several from previous marriages. Their daughters Kendall and Kylie are 18 and 17, respectively. What’s good for this large blended family is the fact that the couple seems to be pretty good at putting their kids first and not being petty about things.

“They both did it together. It’s all done and there’s no drama or messiness. They worked out all the details over the last few months,” said a friend of the couple who is close to the situation. Court documents suggest that Kris Jenner is seeking joint custody both physically and legally over Kylie, who is the couple’s only minor child. Additionally, she has requested that she be allowed to keep all her jewelry and assets that she’s acquired since their separation 11 months ago. The rest of the couple’s assets are set to be divided at a later date.

“We will always be the best of friends, because that’s the dynamic of our relationship. We definitely get along as a family and with the kids; we’re so connected in that way. We love each other,” the Kardashian matriarch said just after the couple separated. So far it seems that this is true of the family. They have remained close and the kids seem okay.
