Nashville to Write Hayden Panettiere’s Pregnancy into Show
Nashville fans, get ready; you’re about to see some major drama in the upcoming season (as if the series has been drama free since its debut two years ago, right?). The show has confirmed that writers are writing Hayden Panettiere’s pregnancy into the show. The actress, who is currently expecting her first child with her real life fiancé, is going to see some major baby daddy drama this season.
For those of you that followed the end of last season, you can imagine how writers are going to add the pregnancy into the life of Juliette Barnes’, Panettiere’s character on Nashville. At the end of last season, the pop star cheated on her boyfriend Avery, played by Jonathan Jackson, with the totally shady and incredibly jerky head of her record label, Jeff Fordham (played by Oliver Hudson). Of course, there was alcohol involved in that particular hookup, but now her character is left with a little problem on her hands.
Not only is her real pregnancy going to play out in the show, her character is going to be less than thrilled about it – especially considering she doesn’t know exactly who the father is. Is it her character’s boyfriend’s baby or is it the baby of her creepy?
While her character, a young, immature pop star with a life that’s been less than easy from the start is probably not anyone’s ideal of a great mother, the actress herself is very excited about her upcoming new role as mommy, and so is her fiancé.
“She’s going to be more than an amazing mommy,” said Panettiere’s fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko after news broke that the couple was expecting their first child together. If you’re dying to see how her character’s pregnancy turns out, you’ll have to wait for the season premiere of Nashville, which is on September 24.
