‘The Bachelor’ Pays Tribute To Gia Allemand

“The Bachelor” kicked off its new season with a preview special that took us behind the scenes of the show’s casting process and got viewers reaquainted with Juan Pablo. But the special also took the time to pay tribute to former contestant Gia Allemand, who took her own life in August. It included interview with show cast-members and Gia’s mom.

It was an emotional episode for those who follow the show and even for those who don’t. Any time someone that beautiful and talented takes their own life is a time for all of us to reflect on our own lives and understand that while she may have been in pain, it’s never a good decision.

We wish that Allemand were still around but The Bachelor will still go on and this season promises to be a good one.
