Bella Hadid, daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Yolanda Foster, is slowly but surely making a name for herself. Over the last year, she has made her way into headlines several times, and people seem to be very eager to find out what she’s going to do next. Unfortunately for Hadid, all of the attention she’s been receiving hasn’t been good, but most recently, she’s been getting a lot of press for her sudden rise to the top in the modeling world. Although she has certainly made her fair share of mistakes, Hadid can have a very successful career if she stays focused. Here are five surprising facts about Bella Hadid.
1. She wants to compete in the 2016 Olympics.
Bella Hadid began riding horses at just three years-old, and she is a nationally ranked equestrian who takes her sport very seriously. According to sources, she’s been training to complete in the 2016 Olympics which will be held in Brazil.
2. Modeling is in her blood.
Bella’s mother, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Yolanda Foster, once had a modeling contract with Ford. Throughout her career, she modeled all over the world and has passed the modeling bug down to her daughters. Bella’s sister, Gigi, signed a modeling contract with IMG Models in 2011, and Bella herself has recently embarked on a modeling career.
3. She’s good friends with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Bella has a lot of famous friends including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who have also done some modeling work of their own. She also shares another connection to the Jenner family, as her step-father, David Foster, was once married to Brody Jenner’s (Bruce’s son) mom.
4. She’s still just a teenager.
It may be hard to believe, but Bella Thorn is still only a teenager. At just 18 years-old, she’s already living the life of an adult – and a somewhat irresponsible one at that. In 2014, she was caught driving under the influence with a suspended license.
5. She loves vintage clothing.
With her love for modeling it should come as no surprise that Bella loves fashion. However, instead of trying to stick to the current trends, she has a deep love for vintage clothing which is evident in a lot of her pictures.
