Rowan Blanchard

Rowan Blanchard is an American actress with an estimated net worth of $3 million. Born on October 14, 2001, she is only 14-years-old and one of the youngest actresses working regularly in Hollywood. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California to yoga instructors by the names of Elizabeth and Mark Blanchard-Boulbol, she has lived in California her entire life. She knew at a young age that she was destined to be in the business of acting, and she has long since practiced acting alongside her two younger sisters. She’s been acting since she was only five. Her first movie role came when she was only 10, when she was cast as the daughter of Mona in a movie called “The Back-Up Plan,” alongside Jennifer Lopez.

From there she was given a chance to become a television regular when she was offered a role in the Disney Junior series Dance-A-Lot-Robot. She also had another movie role in the “Spy Kids” franchise and she was working hard every day in her roles. Her big role came when she was given an opportunity to become a series lead in a show that was already given its own genre of fans from many years ago. The hit show Boy Meets World from the 90s was reprised on the Disney Channel, bringing with it fans that grew up watching the show and wanting to see it brought back to life. She was offered the role as the lead character and the daughter of Corey and Topanga – America’s favorite childhood couple – in the new remix, Girl Meets World. What most people don’t realize is that she is the singer, alongside Sabrina Carpenter, of the title track to the show, too.

Since the series was brought back to live and revived on the Disney Channel, it comes with a unique following of children and fans. Many kids love all shows that come onto the Disney network, and many adults are watching the show, too, since they grew up with the characters that are Rowan Blanchard’s parents in the hit series. This is the role that has made Rowan Blanchard very famous, and will likely spin off into a number of other ventures for her as many of the most famous Disney channel characters go onto to pursue their dreams making music, movies and other television shows.

In 2016, Rowan Blanchard made headlines when she came out as ‘queer’ on Twitter. The term is defined as anyone who is open to liking any gender. She stated that at this point in her life, she’s only 14 and has only ever liked boys but that she doesn’t feel as if she is limited and defined to only liking boys. The admission was met with mixed feelings by many, particularly parents who are not entirely certain they want their kids identifying with someone who is not their definition of ‘normal,’ for their own personal reasons. However, other fans were thrilled at the news as she is a role model for many young kids facing similar feelings and unsure how to go about identifying them. Her star is still rising, and Rowan Blanchard is likely to earn even more money in the coming years.
