Sabrina Kennedy Tells Us About The Time She was Humped by a Pit Bull

Sabrina Kennedy

Sabrina Kennedy was the youngest of the cast of Real World: Go Big or Go Home at the age 21.  She’s from Topsfield, Massachusetts and is an aspiring singer who has a lot of drive, ambition, and talent.  She’s not afraid to speak her mind, get a little sexual, or even be aggressive.  We had a chance to sit down and speak with Sabrina to ask her where she is, where she’s going, and even a little dirt from the Real World for you.   Here we go!

1. You grew up in Massachusetts, tell us about it – are you a Sox fan?

I grew up in Boston and later moved about twenty minutes North in the suburbs. I love being a Boston girl and east coaster we tell it how it is. I grew up in a beautiful place with my mother, father, and sister. Being so close to Boston gave me the opportunity to always be able to go into the city and explore. Boston is a tiny New York City yet with beaches and character. Of course a sox fan more of a patriots fan though!

2. When did you start singing and what inspired you to become a singer?

I started singing at a very young age it all started when I would listen to my Disney cassette tapes and sing along to all the songs. At the age of 5 my parents enrolled me in a theater group and from then on I was getting all the lead roles. I pursued my singing wholeheartedly at the age of nineteen and realized it was something I waned to be doing for the rest of my life. No matter what my music always seems to be the most constant aspect of my life and I use it as an outlet for my life. Singing has inspired me to be myself.

3. If you could choose one thing you learned most from The Real World, what would it be?

I learned that truly all you have is yourself in this world. The experience allowed me to really find out who I truly was because when you are living with seven strangers all you have is yourself to rely on. I gained this new found energy to want to strive for my goals as a human being.

4. Give us one juicy tidbit from the show that viewers didn’t see on air.

Haha I wouldn’t say it is that juicy but I volunteered at an animal shelter and some of the best footage is of me getting humped by a very large pitbull. The rest is everything you will see on tv.

5. Who is your favorite reality star and why?

To be honest before being on the show I never watched reality television I had never even watched the real world. I would have to say the funniest are the housewives of Beverly Hills. Lets be honest the best ever was Laguna Beach I even had a Laguna beach themed birthday party once.

6. You’ve been known to speak your mind and not be afraid of using your aggression. Give us an example of you doing this to the extreme

A lot of my aggression comes from being an extremely independent and strong woman. If I believe you are disrespecting me or people close to me you should run for the hills. An example of extreme aggression is the song I released about my ex its called #12 its on soundcloud. I tend to call people out when I believe they are totally being losers. I am aggressive to get what I want and I would rather be honest than dull.

7. What singer would you like to do a duet with most and why?

Stevie Nicks of course that woman is a genius for a more popular singer of this time i would say Ariana Grande. My absolute dream is to write with Sia though she is amazing.

8. Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

I honestly try not to give celebrities that satisfaction but I would have to say Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots

9. Instagram or Twitter and why?

Instagram. I love the idea of documenting my life through photos. Twitter is a breed for bullies

10. Tell us about your single “If Only” – what was the inspiration behind it?

The inspiration for this song came from a very dark point in my life I was extremely confused with various people and opportunities in my life and people not accepting me for who I am. I was suffering from depression and was very down about a relationship that was so toxic for me. The line “If only” is just saying if only you decided to see me for the real me we would not be in this place or I would not be in this place. The experience gave me an amazing song and helped me to grow as a person.
