Snoop Dogg Performs At SXSW

Snoop Lion

Snoop Lion or as some of us older folks call him “Snoop Dogg” is one of the bigger attractions at this year’s SXSW.  In the photo above, he takes part in a Q&A following the ‘Take Me To The River’ premiere at the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival at the Topfer Theatre at ZACH yesterday in Austin, TX.

Snoop, in his older years is always the generous one.  Always a humanitarian these days.  However, as you’ll see in the video we provided, he can still get down like he did back in the early 90s.  A fan managed to post this awesome clip of Snoop performing one of his classics.

While the audio isn’t too great, about 30 seconds in you’re going to know exactly what tune this is.  Then again, if you weren’t born until the late 90s or beyond then this might actually be a pleasant surprise to all you teens out there.   Can you say “woot woot, until the break of dawn?”  We’re pretty sure that Snoop can and he can say it well.

Currently Youtube is experiencing issues but here’s a link to the video if it’s working for you.

Boy does this video make me miss the days of high school.  Sure I might be dating myself here but come on.  Who doesn’t remember how awesome he and Dr. Dre used to be back in the day?  It’s pretty awesome that Snoop is still going strong today and attracting big crowds.
