What were you doing when you were only 12? Playing barbies with your girlfriends? Riding your bike around the neighborhood until the sun went down and it was time to go home and beg your mom to let you stay up a little bit later than you are typically allowed so you can have some fun with your toys? How about facing the unpleasant reality that puberty was well on its way and the most awkward years of your life were just beginning? Whatever you were doing at 12, it probably wasn’t anywhere near as impressive or exciting as what 12-year-old Logan Guleff is doing.

The 12-year-old from Memphis is the $100,000 winner of MasterChef Junior, and he’s famous for his exceptional talent in the kitchen. Most of us can’t even get our kids to pour their own cereal and this little boy is a master chef; it’s just not fair. If you don’t already love the little boy who cooks, we have a few reasons you might decide to love this kid.

He Always Wears a Bowtie

From the time his godmother got married until the present day, he’s been wearing bow ties. It all started with the wedding and escalated from there. He’s now a cute kid who sports a bow tie on a regular basis, and it’s just one of the many reasons people love him so – but he doesn’t know how to tie it. His mom does that for him.

He’s Been to the White House

Logan Guleff got to spend some time at the White House with the President and the First Lady when he won a completely different cooking competition back in 2012, and he says that he wanted to be president at one point so it was one of the most exciting things he’s ever done in his life.

He Loves Gordon Ramsay

Many people are terrified of Gordon Ramsay since he’s so to the point and exact about his opinions, beliefs and his style. Not Logan, however. He’s not afraid of him and, in fact, he believes that working with Ramsay was one of the highlights of his time on this particular cooking competition.
