In 2013, Jax Taylor gained reality TV superstardom as a cast member of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules. Although the show’s premise was to follow the business life of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, Lisa Vanderpump, the show, eventually became focused on the staff of herWest Hollywood based restaurant, SUR. Taylor, a bartender at SUR, quickly became one of the show’s most popular characters, and his storyline was chock-full of entertaining drama. Now, widely considered the show’s biggest villain, Taylor’s popularity has risen even further. However, even though he spends a great deal of time in front of the camera, Taylor has main somewhat mysterious to viewers and cast mates alike. Here are three things you didn’t know about Jax Taylor.
3. Jax Taylor once lived with Channing Tatum.
In 2013, Jax Taylor revealed that after moving to New York, his first roommate was none other than Channing Tatum. Tatum is well known for his role in the films Step Up, Magic Mike, and 21 Jump Street.
2. Jax Taylor was in the army.
Before becoming Vanderpump Rules’ biggest villain, Jax Taylor spent some time in the military. In 2014, Jax Taylor revealed that the “Freedom” tattoo across his back is in honor of his time in the armed forces.
1. Jax Taylor has a clothing line.
Aside from being a reality TV star, Jax Taylor has also enjoyed a career as a model. Most recently; however, Taylor partnered with XCALIBUR to launch his own clothing line. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Taylor stated: “I’ve been involved in the fashion industry for a really long time, and it’s something I’ve always loved. I modeled for the Xcalibur company, and within the past year, I had some ideas. [Xcalibur] came up with an opportunity for me and asked me if I would be interested in designing some of my own sweaters and shoes. Obviously, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I just ran with it.”
