Three Things you Don’t Know about Apollo Nida

Some cast members of some of the Real Housewives franchises are giving housewives a bad name. Phaedra Parks, housewife of Atlanta, is married to Apollo Nida. Maybe you don’t watch and so you don’t know this person; but you do know his name from the news as of late. The man who married Phaedra Parks is currently serving 8 years in prison for various crimes include bank fraud and identity theft (how very New Jersey of him). The couple has been married since 2009; they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary just before Thanksgiving. Well, they didn’t celebrate, but you know what we mean.

Apollo Nida hasn’t been overly good to his wife, what with this criminal activity and all that. And the couple has certainly been through their fair share of drama (mostly self-induced). The couple met in 1995 and dated for many years before tying the knot. Parks was working on her Juris Doctorate when they met, and even though he served two prison sentences prior to their marriage, she married him less than six months after he was released from a 5-year sentence in 2009. You probably knew that, but just what don’t you know about this prison-bound reality star?

He Got Fit in Prison

When you’re serving time for financial crimes, you have to do something productive. So while Nida was in prison the second time, he buffed up and get really fit. His body has been discussed multiple times on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and for good reason. It’s a great body. His wife decided that she’d keep him out of trouble by giving him tens of thousands of dollars to start this own personal training business after they were wed. After all, it doesn’t look good for an attorney to be married to a criminal.

He Helped His Wife Release a DVD

Did you know Phaedra Parks has a workout DVD? Her husband helped her to put it together as a way of working his business. Presumably, it was her way of ensuring he was too busy with her to get into any trouble. Why, again, is this successful attorney married to this man whom she has to babysit like a child to keep him out of trouble?

Apollo Nida’s Wife is Happy He is Going to Jail

Phaedra Parks is happy that her husband is going to jail. She’s happy that she no longer has to wonder where he is and what he’s doing. We don’t know how long he will serve this time, especially considering his last term was set for 18 years and he served only 5. However, we do know that Parks has said she’s divorcing him this time.
