Bryan Cranston Net Worth

Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston is an American actor with an estimated net worth of $30 million. He was born on March 7, 1956 in Hollywood, California. His mother is Audrey Peggy, a Radio actress. His father is Louis, who is a former boxer and an actor. He is the second of three kids, but his grandparents raised him throughout much of his childhood. They owned a poultry farm, on which he lived much of his own life. As far as his own parents are concerned, Bryan Cranston does not feel that they were good parents because of their own personal issues. He does not allow that to bother him, however; and he certainly did not allow that to deter the fact that he wanted to be an actor and go into the same line of work as his ‘broken’ parents.

Throughout his childhood, Bryan Cranston was not all that into acting. In fact, he was into other things but acting was not one of them. He went to college and he then decided that he’d like to try his hand at theater. He began appearing at the Granada Theater in San Fernando Valley. He’d been part of the theater program as a child but his parents had pulled him out of it after realizing that their own failing careers probably made them what they were as people at that point. Early work in the 80s was good, but it was not enough to turn him into a household name. However, Bryan Cranston appeared regularly on Jerry Seinfeld’s television show, among others, and he began to build a following and make a career for himself.

It was not until 2000 when he was cast as Hal on the hit sitcom Malcom in the Middle that he really became famous. He was part of the show for the entire six years that it aired, and then he found himself looking for the next big role. That’s when life changed. The sitcom made him famous, but he would really become famous and cement his talent in his career when he was cast as a Walter White on the hit show Breaking Bad. He was on the show for the entire run from 2008 until 2013, and it remains one of the most talked-about, most rewarded shows of all time. He played a teacher turned meth maker to support his family, and the role was one he credits his father for inspiring as he often portrayed his father’s posture and style in the show.

Since, Bryan Cranston has been starring as Lyndon B. Johnson on Broadway, and he’s loving every moment of it. He met Robin Drearden in 1984 and married him when he was 33. They’ve been married ever since and they share a daughter who is a theater student. He’s won six primetime Emmys for his role in Breaking Bad, one Tony, Four SAG awards, two Golden Globes and he has been nominated for one Academy Award in his life. It’s safe to say his career has been a good one so far.
