Lauren Conrad is an American reality television star, author and designer with an estimated net worth of $25 million. She was born on February 1, 1986 in Laguna Beach, California. She was born and raised in Southern California and has always called the area home. Her mother is Kathy and her father is Jim, and he is an architect. She has two younger siblings, a brother and a sister. When she was in her first year of middle school, Lauren Conrad decided she wanted to be a fashion designer or at least a part of the fashion industry in some way or form. She’s always dreamed of this lifestyle, and it’s one she decided to handle on her own. She was not really into school or her studies, but she’s always been very interested in fashion and in the world of style, and that’s something they dealt with when she was a child.
In 2004, she and her friends were approached to star in a television show about the upscale area in which they lived. She was in high school during the time, and she was called LC during the show. She and her friends decided to become stars in the hit show Laguna Beach, but they really had no idea how famous they would become starring alongside one another on a show that followed their very privileged lifestyles. They were followed around working, going to school, going out and dealing with the drama that teenage girls and boys dealt with. She became quite famous for her feud with co-star Kristin Cavallari and their desire to date the same boy.
Lauren Conrad eventually left the show and moved to Los Angeles to attend fashion school. She was then approached by MTV again asking her if she’d like to star in another show about her life in the Hills going to school and working in the fashion industry. For six seasons, The Hills was one of the most popular shows on television. She was only in it for about four seasons, but it really did need her to survive. Once she decided to leave reality television in 2009, Lauren Conrad went to work designing her own fashion line and lifestyle brand. She then decided to release a novel and followed that up with several more.
She has released a line of items called Paper Crown, where she focuses on more high-end clientele. In 2012, Lauren Conrad began dating a law student by the name of William Tell. The two decided to live together not long after they started dating, and they eventually decided to get married in 2014. During the time they announced their engagement in 2013 and their wedding, Lauren Conrad launched an online store called The Little Market, and it’s been wildly successful. She’s working hard to make her career even more successful than it already is, and she is not someone who is willing to stop what she’s doing and forgo that for anything else. She’ working hard and enjoying her life and fame.
