Mick Foley is an American writer and retired wrestler with an estimated net worth of $15 million. He was born June 7, 1965 in Bloomington, Indiana. His birth name is Michael Francis Foley, Sr. The world knows him as a former professional wrestler with four world championships. He was as successful wrestler and continues to work in the industry. Right now he is the on-screen general manager of Raw; he is signed with the WWE, and he continues to work in the industry he has loved all of his life. When Mick Foley was just a child, his family moved to East Setauket, New York. He was a lacrosse player and a wrestler in high school. He and comedian Kevin James were classmates who both wrestled together and even chose to go to college together.
It was a match he saw in Madison Square Garden that featured Jimmy Snuka that made him want to pursue his career in wrestling. He was so enamored by the event that he made it his mission to become a professional wrestler. While in college, he decided to pursue that career while still taking classes. He began to commute to a wrestling school in Pennsylvania where he would drive hours at a time to get to his training sessions in between classes and his school work. It was 1986 when he made his debut as a wrestler in an independent light. He spent several years working independently as a wrestler.
It was two years later that he began to work different promotions for the UWF and the CWA and really make a name for himself. It was the time that he entered into the WCW in 1991 that people began tow recognize him as a pro. He went by the name Cactus Jack at that point, and he had a number of other names at the same time. He seemed to try them on until they began to fit his needs and his life before going by his nickname, Mick. For the next decade, he fought and he worked to make a name for himself. That’s when he won all his world titles and finally gave up his career in favor of retirement in 2000 – though he eventually came back.
Mick Foley is also a writer with several published works to his name, including his autobiography. He did not use a ghostwriter, and the book was quickly put in its place on the NYT best-seller list. Mick Foley has done television work, radio and other television work. He is married to Colette, and they have three sons and one little girl. Their daughter is training to become a wrestler and one of their sons works for the WWE as an assistant in the creative department. Mick Foley is not showing any signs of stopping now. He is just getting started, it seems. He will continue to add to his net worth and rock the world with his big personality. Additionally, we can expect to see his daughter anytime in the professional wrestling world.
