10 Celebrities You Forgot Actually Killed Someone
Celebrities are not perfect; they’re far from it. Most of us tend to idealize these people, assuming that they are some sort of perfect creatures that do no wrong. They’re beautiful, talented, wealthy and they live the dream, right? Sure, they are wealthy and talented and many of them are beautiful, but they’re also people; and people are not perfect. In fact, celebrities are so imperfect that many of them have done horrible, unthinkable things in their lives. Many have been addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. Many have been in abusive relationships. Many have been abusive. Many have been divorced, have had family fall-outs and have failed in many ways.
And many celebrities have actually killed someone else. That’s right; they’ve killed people. Many times it’s been completely accidental, but it does happen to celebrities. They are not perfect. Read to find out which celebs have been responsible for the deaths of others.
Laura Bush
The former First Lady of the United States of America is a lovely woman who does much work for charity, but she is also responsible for the death of a classmate when she was just a teen. When she was in high school she failed to stop at a stop sign and slammed her car into the car of a classmate, who died. He was both a friend and a classmate of Bush’s and she has said on numerous occasions that she has never forgotten how her poor decision changed the world.
Rebecca Gayheart
The actress was convicted of vehicular manslaughter when she hit a 9-year-old boy crossing the road and killed him. She was charged with that, and then she had her license taken away from her for a year when it happened. Unfortunately, she then flipped over a rental car while driving that before her license was given back to her. Her driving record is not a good one, and many feel that she was not properly punished for her actions.
Brandy
She was not at fault for the accident in which another man was killed, but she was involved and she has taken the blame for the accident. The car in front of her hit another car and she failed to stop before she hit the car in front of her in which the driver was then killed. She has never been the same since the accident, saying that she accepts responsibility for what happened even though others say it was not her fault.
Vince Neil
The Motley Crue singer was the driver in a bad accident in which his passenger was killed. He also hit another car and both the people in the other vehicle suffered brain damage as a result of the accident. Neil, however, was just fine. Of course, he was drunk and driving and that’s probably why. Despite all the damage his bad driving and poor decisions caused, however, he was only sentenced to 15 days in jail.
Matthew Broderick
Long before he was the husband of the very famous Sarah Jessica Parker, he was the boyfriend of the very famous Jennifer Gray. The two were driving in Ireland when he turned the wrong way onto a street and hit an oncoming vehicle. The driver and the passenger in the car his car hit were both killed, while he and Gray walked away relatively unhurt from the accident. It is not something he talks about very often, though Gray has said she suffers from survivor’s guilt on a regular basis.
Caitlyn Jenner
Before she was Caitlyn and she was living as Bruce, her Escalade slammed into the back of another car on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu and caused a multi-vehicle pile-up that resulted in one death. This happened in early 2015, and no one knows whether or not she will be charged for the incident just yet or if she is going to be let off for her actions in this accident.
Snoop Dogg
Does it seem surprising to see his name on the list? It shouldn’t be, since it was in the news for a long time when he and his bodyguard were accused of killing a man from a rival gang several years ago. He was acquitted after a few years of trials and of court battles, but the memory has not been forgotten by pretty much anyone in the world – especially the gang from which the other man was a member.
Ted Kennedy
It’s been said time and time again that tragedy never fails to find this family, and it’s the truth – this family has terrible luck when it comes to their lives. It was 1969 when he drove his car off a bridge and his car was submerged into the water just off an island near Martha’s Vineyard. He was unhurt, fled the scene and waited nine years before he came forward to tell the truth about what happened. The woman with him, unfortunately, died in the accident.
OJ Simpson
Has anyone really forgotten about this? It’s been thought for many years that the former NFL star is responsible for the deaths of his ex-wife and her boyfriend at the time back in the early 90s. He was found not guilty by a jury, but everyone in the world seems to think that he was the man behind the attack and that he is the one who did kill his ex-wife and her friend. The world thinks that this man has gotten away with murder, quite literally.
Charles S. Dutton
He is a very talented actor, but he’s also the responsible party for taking the life of another man. When he was only 17, he got into a fight with another man. The fight was so bad and Dutton so enraged throughout the fight that the other man actually lost his life. He was killed, and Dutton was charged with manslaughter. He actually spent 7 years of his life in prison for his crime, and he seems to have changed his life dramatically since then.
