‘Game of Thrones’ Stars Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa Cast in Movie Roles
Remember when Daenerys and Khal Drogo shared the small screen in season 1 of HBO’s amazing Game of Thrones? Actors Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa had crazy chemistry and both were/are loaded with charisma. They might not be reuniting (SPOILER: Drogo did die at the end of the first season), but both Clarke and Moa can be seen in respective upcoming feature length films.
Clarke will play the lead in the psychological thriller Voice From the Stone, based on the Italian novel La Voce Della Pietra by Silvio Raffo. The story is set in 1950s Tuscany and follows a nurse, played by Clarke, who gets entangled in the workings of an evil force that lives inside the castle where she works. The nurse is there taking care of a young boy who is grieving his mother’s sudden death. Shooting is scheduled to start in Italy in November and the movie will be directed by Eric D. Howell, who will be making his feature directorial debut.
HUGE casting news for Momoa. He has reportedly landed the role of original Justice League member Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill co-star as the two heroes, respectively, and filming has already begun on the Zack Snyder film. Dawn of Justice also co-stars Israeli supermodel Gal Godot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) as Lex Luther, Jeremy Irons (The Borgias) as Batman’s right hand man, Alfred, and Holly Hunter (Top of the Lake.) Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, and Diane Lane will reprise their roles from Man of Steel. The newest installment in the Batman series is scheduled for a May 6, 2016 release.
