Her father was a physician and a surgeon. His father, Harry Saul Bloom, died when Orlando Bloom was only four. However, he later found out that his father, and the father of his older sister, is not actually his biological father. His mother informed him when he was a teenager that his real father was her partner and family friend, Colin Stone. The news was shocking to Orlando Bloom. He was raised in a religious household, and he suffers from dyslexia. His mother decided it might be a good idea for her son to focus on his artwork and the arts so that he might have a bit of distraction from the perils he faced with his dyslexia.

When their relationship ended, he began dating model Miranda Kerr. The two ended up getting married and having a son together in 2011. They called off their marriage in 2013. While they have not actually gotten a divorce just yet, he is dating singer Katy Perry, with whom he made international headlines in 2016 as they two were paddle boarding while on vacation and he was completely nude during the process.
Orlando Bloom has starred in more than two dozen movies in the past two decades, and he is proud of his work. Unlike other young heartthrobs, he is not someone who prefers the romantic comedy or the superhero role. He is more serious with his roles, and he tends to choose things that will take him into a new realm as an actor. It’s been working for him quite well now for almost 20 years, so good for him.
