10. Lenny Dykstra
In 2010, the three-time MLB all star and World Series Champion was forced to auction off his World Series ring due to being so deep in debt. Dykstra started the“Player’s Club,” a high-end jet charter and luxury magazine that unfortunately went belly up. His next error was purchasing Wayne Gretzky’s home for $17.5 million, which was highly overvalued. After these goofs, Dykstra was in debt. Sadly, he turned to illegal actions to try and make ends meet. In 2012, Dykstra was convicted of fraud on top of pleading no contest to exposing himself to women he met on Craigslist.
