Video of Solange Knowles Attacking Jay Z After Met Gala Surfaces

Jay Z and Beyonce Knowles have been the subject of many a story this past year – not one of them negative. They welcomed a baby and they’ve been features on just about every list Forbes magazine can conjure up. Their latest news talked about the launching of a mega tour in which husband and wife would headline this summer. Perfect.. a little too perfect.

According to reports, a video surfaced yesterday that shows an altercation between Jay Z and Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s sister) in the elevator after the Met Gala. The 58-second clip was obtained by TMZ shows Solange confronting Jay Z while Beyonce stays by. There’s another man who holds Solange back until the elevator opens and the three get out. In a separate video, the three can be seen exiting the elevator while Solange and Beyonce get into a car and Jay Z into another SUV.

A source close to the situation said that “Solange flipped out over something Jay had said, that she took the wrong way. She took it too hard or too far. Not sure what it was but she greatly overreacted.” No one directly involved in the situation was available for comment. At this point, it doesn’t seem like this is going to amount to much, but who knows – things were going to perfect for them and it is Hollywood.
